Items and Services Needed

Tractor Service - We are ALWAYS in need of tractor work. At the ranch there is an endless amount of work that needs the use of a tractor. Some of the things would include manure removal, weed removal, filling holes, grading areas, tilling arena and riding areas and much much more!! If you have a tractor and can help us out for a few hours or even a day please let us know ASAP!!

Welding Services - Welding is another HUGE need of our. If you have a portable welder and can help out with stall repairs we need your help desperately! Our pipe corral panels are old and very used and we have several that have fallen apart at the welds so should be fairly easily fixed so they can be used again.

Blanket Cleaning & Repair - Well if you know horses, you know they are really good at getting their blankets dirty and full of holes. We are in need of someone who would be willing to donate their time and expertise in cleaning and repairing horses blankets.

Items Needed

Feed - Following is a list of the most commonly used products here at UAWR. But DO NOT hesitate to contact us if you have something other then on this list...as we Do use other products this is just the list of MOST used!

Bermuda Grass Hay, Orchard Grass Hay, Alfalfa Hay, & 3-way Hay or any combination of these.

Hay Pellets of any kind or blend

All of these items can be purchased at our local feed store

Supplements: Senior Feed, Rolled Corn, Rolled Barley, Soybean Meal, and Stabilized Rice Bran

Probiotics - We typically use Fastrack or Probios but also use paste types as well.

Joint Supplements - all brands and types of joint supplements are needed.

Monitary Donations - We will use these funds to pay for vet care for one of our horses, or to purchase feed, or to save an animal in need of our help. Some people believe that because an animals is starving to death or being abused that we can get it for free and that usually is not the case. Most of these people who are willing to let the animal starve almost to death and want to get their last dollar out of this poor helpless animal before it moves on out of their life, so we are left with no choice but to purchase these animals in order to save their lives. Small Motor home or RV Trailer. - We are in need of an small motor home or RV trailer in order to assist us with our ACTHA Rides. We are traveling to other locations in order to conduct these rides along with the need for electricity to run coffee for our riders, computer and printers for scoring rides, and also giving us the ability to travel further to new places for these rides. When we go to new locations we always have many more riders and the more rider we have to attend the more funds we are able to raise for the horses.

Horse Trailer - We are in need of a larger horse trailer 3 or 4 horse stock type trailer in order to transport wild or difficult horses to our facility to start their new life.

Truck - We need a minimum of a 3/4 ton pickup to pull a trailer and also to haul feed and save delivery charges.

Storage Sheds - To store our feed and supplies out of the wind and rain.

Pipe stalls / Panels - Any size is needed. Even if you have just one panel that would be a big help to us. It only takes 3 people with one panel to add another stall to our already existing barn. The more stalls we have the more horses we can take in.

Shelters - We need any type of shelters to protect horses from wind, sun, and rain.

Sturdy Metal poles- We need these for legs on the shelter we build. Generally 10-12 foot long is best but have small horses also so it would be ok if they were shorter.

Corrugated Metal Roofing Panels - We have a large 30' x 24' shelter frame but still need the roofing panels to cover it and make it useable. We also get lumber from time to time in order to build shelter frames and need metal to cover them.

Fencing & Materials - We need all types of fencing. (Chain Link, Horse Fencing, Hog Wire/Panels,. T-Posts, 4 x 4's, 2 x 4's, 1 x 4's, etc.)

Buckets and Feeders - We have a limited supply of these and we are in need of more. Even 55 gallon drums work great. We cut these in half in order to us them for feed and water.

Office Supplies - Printer Ink for an Epson Workforce 610, copier paper, colored paper, envelopes, mailing labels, stamps, etc.

Tack - We need all types of saddles , saddle pads, bridles, halters, training equipment, etc. in order to train, exercise, and condition these horses. What we do not use here we can post to our shop to sell and raise funds for feed or other needed items.

Re-Hab Supplies - We would like to get a MacKinnon Ice Horse Unit and MacKinnon Hock ice wrap in order to better care for the many horses we get that are in need of re-hab.

Blankets & Fly Masks - We need all types and sizes of blankets, day sheets, fly sheets, and fly masks. The most common sizes of blankets and fly sheets we use are 76" and 78"

Grooming & First Aid Items - We need all types of grooming supplies and First Aid Supplies. Vet Wrap and rubber gloves are the most common items needed. Rolls of gauze and cotton.

Fly Spray - Summer comes faster then we think. We need help keeping these kids comfortable and fly free. we need all types of fly spray, fly bags, flay masks, fly sheets, and any other fly products would be helpful.

Wormers & Vaccinations - We need all types of wormers and vaccinations as we worm and vaccinate every horse that comes into our facility so we go thru these very quickly!

Commercial Sewing Machine - We have a small home sewing machine that we are using now to try and repair blankets but it can not go through most materials and can not accommodate most of the winter blankets.

Misc building materials & other - We can use any wood for building. (2x4's. sheets of plywood, Metal poles, etc.) also we could use just about any livestock or horse related other items you may have.

Any other items horse related or not that we might be able to list on our website for sale to raise funds for feed, vet bills, etc. We would love to have!
